Well I leave tomorrow for Ecuador, which is both exciting and a bit nerve-wracking. All my bags are packed and I'm ready to get started with my adventures! I leave tomorrow morning at 7:45, and connect in Miami. I'll be flying from Miami to Quito with a lot of other people on my program, so it will be nice to meet some people before it actually begins!
If anyone is brave enough to send me mail, my address will be:
Caroline Barr
c/o Ana de Alvear
Experimento de Convivencia Internacional
Hernando de La Cruz N31-37 y Mariana de Jesús
Quito, Ecuador
I hope to hear from everyone in the form of comments or emails (my email address is cbarr@bates.edu in case you were wondering) and I'll keep you updated on everything I'm up to!
Until next time,
Caroline

You are going to have so much fun-- I can't wait to hear all about it!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE YOU! Don't get malaria, and write to me, and I'll write to you, and have fun, and be safe, and for God's sakes whatever you do PLEASE don't end up in jail. I saw "Jailed Abroad: Ecuador" on the National Geographic channel last night, and even though it was dubbed in Hindi I could tell that it's bad news.
ReplyDeleteYes, what Bridget said!! Don't go to jail and do remember to start your malaria meds one day before you leave for this upcoming trip! did you take pictures of the hummingbirds?
ReplyDeleteLove you! Mom
